What you will have an opportunity to do: Qualifications: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE Knowledge of group sales, marketing, and revenue management Conference Services and/or Catering planning experience required Experience with the University of Chicago preferred College degree or Associates degree or equivalent experience in a full-service Hotel/Resort/Conference Center Excellent written and oral communication skills Assertive, outgoing and self-motivating individual with pleasant personality Demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance preferred Prior use of Delphi, or similar Sales & Catering system, required Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel Must adhere to all Benchmark Hospitality policies, procedures and requirements for employment Must be in process or have completed the vaccine process for COVID-19 by time of job offer and be willing to stay fully vaccinated (fully vaccinated means completing all doses of COVID-19 vaccine including any future booster requirements per schedule requirement of the CDC). Will assist clients with event design consultation and overall meeting & event management.
